Market analysis, launching new activities, placing or repositioning an existing activity, looking into distribution channels or a possible partner, follow-up… Epicure deals with all aspects of your commercial representation.

When it comes to education, the traditional method involves a lecturer whose words are carefully noted by devoted students. However, it has now been scientifically demonstrated that the majority of students forget 70% of the material by the time they graduate.
Our approach, involving case studies and project-based learning, requires that students ‘roll up their sleeves’ and do their own research, under the supervision and guidance of teachers, to master the material. This hands-on experience puts the students in a better position to retain the academic content of their studies.

In consulting, the approach is similar. Consultants are generally called in for 2 reasons:

  • The company does not have the time to devote to the subject in question.
  • The employees do not have sufficient mastery of the subject.

In the first case, the consultant acts in the traditional manner. In the second, the consultant, like the instructor, acts as a facilitator helping others to discover the subject. This type of approach allows them to tackle the subject without inhibitions and to gradually master a new professional environment.

With degrees in economic sciences from the universities of Utrecht and Cambridge, an MBA from the University of California, Irvine and a Postgraduate degree in international business from the Solvay business school, Patrick Coets has worked for over 30 years as an international independent consultant. Acting as Director for various companies, he is also a lecturer and thesis advisor at numerous universities and training centres in Belgium and abroad.
With a degree in communication, public relations and international business, Maxim Coets is embarking upon a promising career. After acquiring experience in information technology, sales and events, he has recently joined the group in order to reinforce the existing teams with his dynamism, his youth and his knowledge of international business.
